The Tantric Alchemy Institute (TAI)

offers a comprehensive classical 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved training within a modern context of the ancient tantric paradigm once found in India. TAI provides a compendium of tools as catalysts for human evolution by integrating wisdom found in the sciences of Samkhya philosophy; Hatha Yoga (asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, yantra, mantra), Ayurveda (the science of health), Vaastu (creating harmonious surroundings), Jyotisha (astrology), and Hasta Samudrika (classical palmistry). Vibrant physical health, equanimous mental and emotional states, the refinement and expansion of consciousness, spiritual growth, and real empowerment will harmoniously unfold in one's contemporary life when this knowledge is applied with focused will, altruistic intention, and sincere discipline; exponential results will be acquired. This training is appropriate for all levels and will enhance the scope of knowledge of even the most advanced practitioners.

Yoga is one of the six classic darshanas of India. The word darshana means both “point of view” and literally “to see”. All of the darshanas share the purpose of supporting the human endeavour to achieve that progress which leads to liberation. All of the darshanas are woven from the same basic fabric to explain the nature of the Universe. Samkhya and Yoga, two of the six, are very closely woven together, and Samkhya also provides the foundation for understanding Ayurveda, Jyotisha, and Vaastu.

Study of Samkhya, Ayurveda, Hasta Samudrika, Vaastu, Jyotisha will together provide a strong foundation for teachers in comprehending the concepts of classic Yoga Sastra which are so deeply intertwined with these sister subjects. These classes will give students the fundamentals of the vidyas which in India are traditionally considered basic essentials for a qualified teacher in any of the classic subjects. Integration of these five subjects will be applied to the context of teaching asana, pranayama and other topics familiar to western students of Yoga.

The science of Hatha Yoga will be explored through asana practice and posture clinics, the art of sequencing and specialized teaching methods, the detailed study of pranayama technique and benefits, meditation, mantra and chanting, western anatomy and anatomy of the energy body.

Tuition includes 200 hour training, training manual, three gourmet vegetarian meals per day, lodging in a luxury zen-modern jungle treehouse with a roommate, full access to The Sanctuary at Two Rivers 40 acre tropical eco-paradise including swimming pool, waterfalls, rivers, gardens, organic fruit orchard, jungle hiking trails, hammocks, pagoda lounge and all applicable taxes.
