Tantra is a system that can assist you to get to know yourself on deep and subtle levels, that you may strive to become the best expression of yourself. Part of that process involves recognizing the ideas, thoughts, fears, entities, diseases and other factors that possess you, and then replacing negative possessions with positive ones. This course will focus on ways, including divination, to identify your possessions, and various methods and practices, involving particularly the Five Elements, for working with Reality to re-novate yourself.
Students will have the opportunity for one-on-one time with Dr. Svoboda to examine particular areas of life where they are looking for solutions. Morning hatha yoga will be led by Liz Lindh, and the event will conclude with a homa (fire ceremony).

About Dr Robert Svoboda
Dr. Robert Svoboda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda and be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India. During and after his formal Ayurvedic training he was tutored in Ayurveda, Yoga, Jyotish, Tantra and other forms of classical Indian lore by his mentor, the Aghori Vimalananda. He is the author of twelve books including Prakriti: Your Ayurvedic Constitution and the Aghora series, which discusses his experiences with his mentor during the years 1975 – 1983. Dr. Svoboda was born in Texas in 1953, and in 1972 earned a B.S. from the University of Oklahoma in Chemistry with a minor in French. After being ritually initiated into the Pokot tribe of northern Kenya as its first white member in June 1973 he moved to India, where he lived from 1973-80 and 1982-86, receiving his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (Ayurvedacharya) from the University of Poona in 1980. In his final year of study at the Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya he won all but one of the University of Poona’s awards for academic excellence in Ayurveda, including the Ram Narayan Sharma Gold Medal.
The Aghori Vimalananda also owned thoroughbred race horses, and Dr. Svoboda served as his Authorized Racing Agent at the Royal Western India Turf Club in Bombay and Poona between 1975 and 1985. He later served as Adjunct Faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, and at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA.
In the years since 1986 Dr. Svoboda has traveled extensively, spending three months per year on average in India. He often speaks on Ayurveda, Jyotish, Tantra and allied subjects in locales across the world. You can see where he is speaking next on the Schedule page.
About Dr Liz Lindh
Liz Lindh is currently the director of The Sanctuary at Two Rivers, a unique boutique eco-conscious yoga retreat and teacher training wellness center and Nature preserve in Costa Rica. Here she created Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness through which she offers Yoga Alliance approved Yoga Teacher Training certification programs and other wellness trainings throughout the year. She is also a faculty member of Tantric Alchemy Institute Divine Wisdom Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Dr. Lindh has has worked with many celebrities including award winning musicians, authors, actors, dancers, and artists of all sorts to inspire creativity, beauty and focus. Her extensive experience in Integrative Medicine includes research with stroke patients at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, a short tour with a rock band as their private acupuncturist and assistant chef, presentations at the University of Miami Miller College of Medicine, the development and implementation of a yoga, meditation and wellness program for cancer survivors for The Wellness Community, an international non-profit support group, the creation of 200 hour and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training curriculum approved by the National Yoga Alliance, and the formulation of her own line of herbal elixirs and beauty products. Liz’s yoga sequences, retreats and wellness concepts have been featured by Yoga Journal, MindBodyGreen and The Chalkboard Mag. She has appeared on TV, radio and online as a yoga and wellness expert, recognized by MindBodyGreen as a leader in the field of wellness and received a Mercury Love Award as “Best Yoga Instructor″.
Liz has been exploring the path of yoga since the early 1990’s. Her dynamic vinyasa yoga classes are a fusion of fluid movement, flexibility, core strengthening and balance where you will find rhythm and awareness, breath and calm, ritual and rock & roll, integration of body, mind, heart and spirit. She teaches with the intention of spreading love, health and beauty. She continues to study yoga, movement, meditation and healing across the globe with many great teachers.
She is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a holistic skincare and natural beauty expert, Yoga Teacher and Yoga Teacher Trainer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and a Masters of Oriental Medicine degree from the East West College of Natural Medicine as well as several other certifications across many disciplines.
